hard to tell where that is-can you zoom out?

I'm in the middle of doing my timing belt now, just need to get the timing gear off and water pump out. I know instructions say to remove the PS bracket but I'm at a loss to understand why. Maybe it will be revealed to me later. I haven't removed mine.

It's the ac compressor bkt. I was wrong on that and it needs to come off to get to one of the bolts for the timing belt tensioner

No, there is another way to get that bolt without removing the bracket. But its too late for you now, I gather. I just did it yesterday. It's explained in Timmy Toolman's video

    go to 40:00 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHC46ypHxWc

    or https://adventuretaco.com/guide/ste...r-3-4l-v6-5vzfe-also-4runner-tundra-and-t100/

You basically just tape a ratchet universal joint and thread a long extension with 12 mm socket up from below. It's tricky but once you know where it is its not bad.

Since I didn't take mine off it may be hard to see that tube, but I'll look.

Could the "tube" be a block drain for changing/flushing coolant?

I think it's an AC drain, but I could be wrong
