Went up to a dormant volcano at the end of the Lost Canyon trial in Colorado. My runner is the silver all the way to the end (right side)of the mostly Jeeps I went with, 12549’ elevation. Beautiful cool day and a great spot for a sack lunch.

I'm going to adjust the lights out and up a little and I think it will look better. If I can't get used to them I'm going to do the stealth mount and mount them behind the lower grill.

Crow, how many miles you on? Thinking to do the same. I’m at 40k. I hate taking off all the steel skids. So while I’m in there why not. How many quarts of trans fluid did you use? Any link to directions online?

I'm glad you're unscathed. I hope that's true for everyone else in the neighborhood, too.

Thank You and yes the SR5 was unscathed! My wife gave me he!! cause I ran to the garage during the middle of the storm. Told her I forgot to roll up the window on the 4R. She didn't find any humor in it at all!

In preparation for a trip with India, where she might have to wait for me in the 4Runner longer than me using the bathroom at a gas station, I constructed an improved shroud for the air conditioner through the rear window. The hope is that this one might do better if it rains. While not pictured, there are two indoor thermometers, one on each side, and a note hoping someone looks inside before they break the glass to rescue India. Fingers crossed. I also got to practice my sewing for an upcoming much bigger project.

32k 3k+ off road which is why the early change. Was a little dirty. I took my skids off for the diff's, transfer cases and tranny. I will say I did not use new crush washers on the transfer case and there's a small leak, so make sure you replace those...and I'll be replacing mine very soon here.....with more fluid.

I watched this video. hardest thing probably is having a torque wrench that goes so low. And an a 5mm allen key socket. Normally I don't care too much about getting the torque 100% on a lot of stuff but you definitely have to for this IMO.

Maybe 4 quarts came out. I put in 6 and it seemed like about 2 came out when did the check plug. Getting a tube like this guy did in the video is well worth it and i would do next time. Pumping 6 quarts sucked.

Where's the photo taken with the cactus? I had jetskiis for 25 years (Yamaha's) We once rode from Laughlin Nevada to Lake Havasu and back in a day. Another great trip was from Davis Dam area in Laughlin up to within 5 miles of Hoover Dam and back. 14 of us on a variety of skies. Back in those days there was a marina at the top end of the ride to refuel. We had all the available space on the skies packed with ice and beers. Great time! Good for you, enjoy!

Sounds like a lot of fun! I definitely need to plan for a trip to lake havasu! Maybe when the weather is not as hot so I can camp in the 4R as well!

the photo is at Saguaro Lake (east of Phoenix)

There are some campgrounds along the river at Topock Gorge. It's kind of cool to ride underneath London Bridge. Again, good for you! I rode the Seadoo scooter you have at my buddies place at 4Rivers RV Resort in California
    by Modesto. Rides nice.
There is/was a floating gas dock at Havasu in case you would need to refuel

Only a wife would require you to install an A/C unit in your 4Runner when camping. That photo has got to be a first! 5,000btu?

Flushed the borks on mine, was super easy with a buddy to help me push the pedal. If anyone in the Denver metro area wants half a bottle of DOT3 before it goes bad, it’s yours for free, I won’t have a need for it anytime soon

Correct me if I'm wrong; you're new to the forum, as many here know India and I.

India is my dog, and we live in Arizona, where it gets hot, so I can't just leave India in the car while I run into Walmart. Additionally, I live out of the 4Runner when I work at night, which includes sleeping in the 4Runner during the day. Last summer, the outside temperature reached 119F while I slept inside comfortably at 75F. Thus, the A/C is not for the wife but for me. The A/C is 6k BTU, running on an 800ah lithium battery bank through a 3k sine inverter supported by a 200w solar panel on top for when parked in town, and an additional 400w portable solar panel, for a total of 600w for when camping (as you say). Hope that helps.

Below is my build if you are interested. The induction stove, air fryer, water heater, toilet, and then some are all for me. It's rare My Life [sic] joins me.

I’ve been debating going OME 51s versus rear 3inch Fox (yes I can get them). However would like some suggestions. I’d appreciate some feedback, provided it’s not some snide remark.

As for what I’ve done lately, mass amounts of lower truck weight.
