I have a cell phone on the Verizon network (through USMobile Warp 5G) and very often when I am outside of town I have no bars for my cell phone but the DCM almost always shows bars.

Does this mean that the vehicle's DCM service is on the AT&T network?

Does this mean that if I were to switch to the AT&T network for my cell phone (an option through USMobile) that I will have phone bars anytime there are vehicle DCM bars? (more or less).

    Thanks!

    Oooh look, another mod.....

Do you do overlanding/camping or off roading, or just wander outside of your town and hit the occasional dead spot? If you go camping or overlanding, then you may want to invest into this:

I purchased one of these units several months ago and enjoy it pretty much. It isn't magic,if there is NO signal it won't make one. It will amplify what is available. After spending quite bit of time off roading in the big trees areas of Arizona, north and south I find that it will grab a signal when you might least expect it,such as when you find a break in the canopy for a short stretch.

The DCM service seems to pretty much work where my AT&T phone and vehicle Wi-Fi work. I also have Verizon and T-Mobile and it does not seem to correlate with either of them. Oddly the vehicle Wi-Fi seems to work better than my AT&T phone Wi-Fi. The only thing I can guess is that the vehicle gets a better signal due to the larger antenna in the back glass.

I am 99% sure my DCM runs on AT&T here in NJ. Not sure if that varies from state to state or what.
