4 Way Lights started on own overnight?

2009 4Runner Limited V6 4WD

2009 V6 Limited
Last night while parked I discovered the 4Way lights turned themselves on. It does not matter if the ignition is on or off, or if the engine is running or not. I ended up pulling a 15 amp fuse from slot 23 to stop it.
The trouble that produces it not only disables the 4 ways, but also the turning signals.

Anyone else have this issue?

Is it the switch malfunctioning or possible the alarm system malfunctioning?
