    Hi forum folks,

Finally joining after years of reading posts. I’m currently updating my 2005 4R that I bought used in 2017 for light off-road and winter driving in Flagstaff, AZ. Love it so much I’m making it my daily driver.

    Upgrades in progress:
    1. ~2” lift: OME springs, Bilstein dampers, Bilstein UCAs.
    2. 5th gen brakes.
    3. LFD Off Road roof rack.
    4. Body repair, full paint job.
    5. TRD wheelsIMG_3438.jpg IMG_3606.jpg

    Maintenance in progress:
    1. All fluids flush/fill and filters.
    2. Timing belt, water pump kit.
    3. VCGs.
    4. Radiator and hose replacement.
    5. Carpet and seat cover replacement.
    6. Whatever else’s pops up along the way.

    cheers!
    Chaz

Welcome and thumbs up on the restoration. I miss my 2003 V8 and I wish I had restored it like you're doing.

Are the 5th gen brakes considered an upgrade or just some newer parts?
