No power while driving

I'm having an issue with my 2002 Toyota 4Runner limited I will be driving on the interstate or anywhere and hit a bump and you lose acceleration if you push the gas to the floor you can get the car to move but seems like transmission but you unhook the battery and hook the battery back up car is fine anybody else have this issue I need help please

 

Did you scan for codes?

 

I have a cheap computer that was telling me there are no codes so I stopped by O'Reilly's and realized there are codes one for MAF sensor 14 knock sensor bank 2 and the third one was something some magnetic clutch I don't know I lost the paper! I can get them to reprint if u have no clue what I mean sorry

Yeah, get them to rescan and reprint. Then take a pic with your phone and post it.

Those items you mentioned...no idea how they can cause the issue you are having. At least not that severe.

My 2000 4runner check engine light came on soon after I noticed less power and throttle response.
dealer said BANK ONE knock sensor was bad, code P0325

while they were in there I had intake gasket replaced and the wiring harness I pinched while installing 7th injector replaced, and the center engine block plugs replaced...
it was ~$1600

if you got one bad knock sensor, consider replacing both while you are there..and expect to find other (hopefully) minor problems while you are in there

finally, I'd suggest going back with Toyota parts even though they cost more...
ONE time I tried an Oreillys MAF cause it was cheaper...it didn't work for me

 

Ok so I recently also got a.maf sensor from oreillys and it's sounding worst than it did befor,

 

Another little info filled up on gas yesterday like full tank and got 71 miles to the tank wtf

 

I guess I should post everything wrong case it's causing all the issues exhaust broke right at last flange , vsc off and vsc trac light on with service engine light .. everything else seems ok gas pedal doesn't work till 3/4 to carpet,used to only happen after a hard bump but k ow does all the time.!! Ohhh also under shifter there is a wire harness that has a D on it and ends looked melted???

 

I used an Oreilly's MAF on my 4runner once...
Key word there is ONCE...it caused me more problems than I had

sounds like you got the same prob

and the knock sensor under the intake, so plan on replacing the intake gasket while you're there
and there are two anti knock sensors,
I went ahead and replaced both after one went bad

 

What are the knock sensors for ??

 

They help the ECU control ignition timing.

 

they retard the timing if detonation is detected, hopefully before the engine is damaged

 

Ok so been playing around with car and last code I pulled up was a p1126 magnetic clutch thing, so after some research I decided to change out throttle position sensor which was kind of hard to find ended up finding one $39 at advance or $142 at O'Reilly's exact same sensor so I bought it and if fixed Everything except the code for the knock sensor which will be replacing soon thank you for everybody's help I really really appreciate it
