    New to forum and 4Runner community, looking forward to learning from everyone. I do have a question though. I’m really happy with my new TRD ORP, and was wondering if it would be bad to take a long trip with one week of ownership. Estimated trip mileage 500-800 total miles. Currently sitting at 180 miles of city driving. Appreciate any feedback or experience. Thanks

    Just be careful if you are highway driving with your new rig - the paint is prone to easy chipping and our windshields like to attract chips like a magnet lol, so keep a good distance when following semi trucks, etc.

    You don't want to keep engine at the same RPM and low load for a long time while it has less than 1K miles. On your trip I recommend not using cruise control, passing cars and/or forcing downshifts with a gear selector to make sure RPMs and load vary.
