I have an '05 Limited (V8)... has the heated leather seats. The leather on my front seats is shot. I'd like to replace the leather, in addition to both seat and back foam. I don't want to spend the coin on Katzkin. Can the OEM leather & foam (both seat AND back) be purchased?

Along those lines... I would not mind a bit more contour/bolstering to the seat bottom. I don't know if OEM seats are naturally flat, or if mine are just THAT worn. Are the 5th gen seat frames identical to 4th gen? Could I source some 5th gen seats that would retain the seat heaters? Of course, the leather may or may not match the rear seats... which are like new.

Since this is a daily beater, I don't want to spend a fortune, but would still like to make it nice. Most of the seat "covers" I've seen tend to be "universal fit"... don't really want to go there.

And yes, I have used the search function... just didn't seem to find an answer to my questions.

I purchased a cheap recovering set on eBay for roughly $140, you will need hog rings and pliers but the kit on Amazon was like $20. I only recovered the passenger side and was not thrilled of the fitment but it is better than the old cracking pleather that was original. It also was a slow process since there are tiny zippers used. I am selling all of my leather interior since I recently replaced it with cloth interior.
