Has anyone tried this kit from Mesos?? If so how’s the fit? It would fix an annoying oversight by Toyota. Just not sure if it’s worth it as I’ve all but gotten used to the OEM ass backward setup.

Also wanted make those who may be bothered by the factory controls know there’s an alternative.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I tried this a few months ago and was super excited, the install seems very straight forward.... But when trying to take off the left side steering wheel bolt, I think I rounded it out. So, now I can NEVER apply this mod to my truck.

I really wish I could. I've owned my 4Runner for 9 months and I had a Tacoma for 2 1/2yrs before that, they have the same steering wheel controls. Despite that, I still (on accident), hit arrow up thinking I'm turning the volume up. But I wind up skipping to the NEXT song.

Then I yell out profanities and curse the engineers at Toyota. After a few minutes I calm down and try to forget it ever happened, until the next time.....

There's a thread on TW for it. I would link, but I can't. There was an issue with the lighting, but it looks like it's been fixed. The latest was that the blue is a little off from matching OEM.

Lastly, while it moves the buttons around the track buttons are still wonky. I think that's what it said. And it looked impossible to correct it.
