Marks on lower engine

    I popped the hood tonight and noticed the marks on the lower part of my engine. I dont think they should be there. I have 6k on my 24 Pro. Any insight would be great.

    Those are normal, everybody has them on their engine. It is casting marks from manufacture.

    Those are from little surface cracks in the mold used to cast your engine block.

    Normal.

    Notice the lines are raised, not cracks. Motlen aluminum settled in to the cracks in the mold and are left on top of the smooth surface of your block.
