The G015's were some of the best tires I've used. It was actually thinking about getting a set to use as my winter tires when the current set wears out. I'll have to see how the reviews for these are once people start putting some miles on them.

    I'll be interested to have Geolandar A/T4 G018;
    1. In size 285/70R17
    2. Standard load
    3. With 3PMSF rating
    4. Black side wall
    5. Weight around 45-47lbs (lesser the better)

Wow this is stupid because I was looking for a tire that had a 1. White lettered side wall 2. didn't have overly aggro sidewall 3. moderately aggressive tread design 4. Had full depth sipes. And this meets all of that (or seems to), yet somehow in this day and age of every waking moment being tracked I somehow only now find out about it through a forum.

Their website is garbage. They say the tread depth is "16", 16 what? 16 inches? 16/32 inches? 16 meters?

My best guess is they took the whole week of the 4th off and forgot to release more information.

I found a good review. It's in Japanese so you know it's more credible (sarcasm). There are actually 3 pages to that review. The 3rd page shows you the side wall lettering options for the tire sizes.

I view the claim about the "single pitch shoulder block" being a good thing with extreme skepticism. Normally you alternate the side tread so you don't create 1 droning pitch, preferably you make it so that one tread block noise cancels out the other. And those wide open lugs are great for grip, but it lets out a lot of noise.

The review mentioned road noise, and that's in a new car with modern sound proofing. And it's an early access review.

The tread depth appears to be 16/32", which is a lot. OE tires are as low as 12/32" and mid-pack after markets will be 13-14/32". That'd explain the high weight.

Have you checked out the Falken Rubitrek A/T ? They have 18/32” tread depth on LT sizes, I have some and they have been pretty solid so far very quiet on road and are fantastic in rain, looking forward to seeing how they do this winter..

I haven't. If it weren't for my requirement for white lettering they'd be a strong contender since that's a great price. I had Goodyear Adventure Kevlars and they were good enough, but then they got discontinued and the successor (it is 1 of 3 tires called Territory AT) got a few downgrades.

My top 3 in contention are the:
    1. Yokahama AT4 (this thread subject)
    2. Toyo AT3 (currently sold seems to be well liked)
    3. Cooper Discover AT3 (I swear they are all named AT3 or AT4)

If I went over my long list of tires you'd soon realize that I am rather picky about what is too aggressive or tame. For example the cooper AT3 are out of contention for not being aggressive enough until I see them in person, while the Goodyear Adventures I'd strongly consider buying again if I could, even if it's debatable if that is more or less aggressive than the Coopers.

The list of tires I know about and ruled out for one reason or another: Sumitomo Encounter AT, Michelin LTX AT2, General Grabber ATX, Goodrich Trail Terrain, Firestone Destination, Yokahama AT, Falken Wildpeak AT3 & AT4, Perelli Scorpion (this isn't ruled out, but it's not top 3), Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT, Goodyear Wrangler Workhorse, Goodyear Trailrunner AT.

If you didn't know, Cooper has replaced the AT3 4S with the Road+Trail AT.

Really that’s very strange, the AT3/4s replace my old A/TW those were a fantastic set of tires awesome in the rain and worked very well in snow, I seen some of those new road and trail tires and they looked nice, but copper tires are hit or miss as to getting a good set, I had some on the wife’s vehicle and they were total garbage after 15k miles, but some people get a good set and last forever.. you could alway paint the letters on the Falkens ??

They show that they have those sizes out on the Yokohama site, just not on Discount Tire or Tire Rack yet.
