Hi all, I've seen a lot of rotor brands for my 2019 on rockauto.com but I'm wondering what brands have done y'all some good in the past and what you recommend. Some that caught my eye were quality built, dynamic friction, raybestos, power stop, Bosch, and Brembo but I didn't know there was brembo rotors and brakes for 4Runners too pricey though, just funny

Just bought some Centric Premiums for my son's Camry. Paired with Akebono ACTs braking is very smooth and strong.
I'm glad because that's the same combo I have for my 4Runner once the originals need replaced.

My OEM rotors have 133k miles on them. I plan to keep them on for 200k, they’re in that good condition. I don’t think you could do much better.

I used centric semi coated rotors on my old explorer and had good luck with them. Kind of middle of the road. You can't go wrong with OEM. IMO the real difference is in the pads.

It's not clear to me that really expensive rotors are worth it. Certainly cheap rotors can cause problems though.

OP be aware that drilled and slotted rotors are really only a benefit to reduce heating and fade in racing type situations where you are doing frequent hard braking. For every day type use you should get better braking with a solid rotor. Just my $0.02.

I've put Powerstop on Toyota, Ford, and Honda recently. Very pleased.

    Proper "bedding" is very important.
