What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

First 6 month service.. they wanted to do a tire rotation only.. but I wanted the oil changed so they agreed to do it... when the tech brought the paper work over he said.. nice undercoating.. having the 40th I'm used to comments but was surprised by that.. had Fluid Film done a few months ago.... Got this screen in.

 

Eibach sport shocks on all 4 corners with 112-620-P Toytec (Eibach) front coil lift springs.

 

Oh dang it. I believe that is the part number. I thought the PTR20 was for the older style rims.
I’ll go take a look and figure that out. Thanks for the heads up.

 

Just checked that part number you listed. That’s the older style TRDs not the new style.

Edit: Just read the listing, you are correct, the center cap isn’t included.

 

The previous owner installed this absolutely horrendous head unit and it was hot garbage. Very difficult to figure out how to do basic functions, almost none of the non-basic functions worked, but the worst part was how poorly it fit into the dash. It wouldn't seat properly and always popped out, squeaked, and just looked like shit. I found an original head unit from a 2010 45 minutes away, had it installed in 10 minutes, it fits perfectly and looks proper, and got my bluetooth paired. That's all I need. The best thing the previous owner did was retain the original wiring harness connectors, thank god for that.

 

where’s the black floor pad from? I’m needing a new one as the moving blanket I use is full of holes..cheap harbor freight crap..lol

 

Looks great and KO2’s have the best looking sidewalls in my opinion.

I think BK are the older version, with the F2 being the newer ones with the red ring around the TRD??

Yep, they are a good place to shop. The price different for these was almost the same and I can pick these up at the shop vs my house. Figured it was safer in case I’m not home when they come in and you never know with package theft these days.

 

You are correct. The older version looks to come with the center cap. The new ones don’t. Checked another site, BAM, and they don’t include the center cap either.

Oh well, it is what it is. I’ll post a pic once I get them in and installed.

 

Booked an OTT Tune for the Runner!!
Located @ YotaTune BC. Second week of July, 30 min drive away.

2013-2019 OTT tune for $590 CAD.
Best low and mid end torque with gains throughout the whole power curve. It gives impressive power starting in the low rpm range and doesn’t require to race up the rpms. The transmission is currently not accessible on those production years and therefore the shift pattern cannot be changed.

Installed the Baja Designs S2 Pro's as ditch lights. Super low profile so they don't obstruct your view, yet the light output is superb. Used a factory blank to install an OEM style switch.

 

Took the family for a June 4R dump run.
Scale: 5489 pounds and 8.17 ounces.
The boys love this place and diggers.
When my oldest is mad at me or mom he tells us he’s gunna throw us in the dump hole. I tell him that’s not nice that’s like the mafia.
