Hi guys! I was able to get a DV8 bumper for my 4th gen 4runner for a good deal and I am actively looking to upgrade the suspension I am leaning towards the 5100s from Bilstein as it fits my budget. I was wondering what the ideal 5100 setup would be if I want to fit 33s, support the weight of the new bumper, and if it would be possible to achieve a 2" lift. I am also looking to get possibly newer upper control arms but I am looking for affordable alternatives to the SPCs. Thanks in advance!

5100’s are fine for that setup I think it’s more on what spring you pair with them. Is that a steel bumper or aluminum? Don’t quote me but for the added weight and desired 2” that sounds something like an OME 885/886/887? I’m not too familiar with other brand springs so do some research too. I have 5100’s paired with 883’s on my Tacoma and that was about an inch of lift.

also check out dobinsons suspension they have a lower cost option and make tons of springs.
