You can have the V8 emblem off of my 100. I took it off. If I ever forget what it has, I'll look under the hood.

Or hear it start up, or notice the fuel light coming on before 300 miles (sorry, lol).

    Savage.

They're missing an unnecessarily loud, but not good-sounding engine, for one.

You should go all the way with the V6 badge:

    V6 24v VVTi-II
    Unleaded 87 or higher
    5-speed Auto

For the record, the V6 should not be thought of as a flex on the Gen6 guys. We have NOTHING to flex.

I've had my 2020 for a couple months, but yesterday was the first time I floored it and stood on it for a few seconds... over 70mph. I was doing 70 and needed to get to 80 quickly. I punched it. It downshifted. It made all the right noises. But, it did not get to 80 quickly. My wife was funny. She just slowly turned to look at me like "Seriously?" She said "That was a lot of drama and not a lot of going faster."

These trucks can flex in a lot of ways. But other than reliability, we're not flexing engine performance.

The 3.73 differential gearing is pretty pathetic. I imagine an appropriate "badge" would help though.

Yeah, I've done this too. I call it "The prom night effect." There's a lot of talk leading up to it, but not much happens and it's over WAY to fast.

Pffft...you have a badge that runs from the front of the 4R to the C pillar, then up. On both sides.

My 2013 Trail has no badge there, I love the look, so clean. If it had one I'd have removed it.

Dude, I'm finding I have a real soft spot for those throwback/retro stripes on these vehicles. Maybe it's because I'm getting old as dirt.

Now please tell me you also have white outlined letters on your tires to complete the look?? ;)

    Gorgeous rig!

I don't. But I should have and I wanted to. The Falken's don't come with white letters or even white outlines. My next set will be KO3's, because they offer it, or Toyo's. This past Sunday a guy walked up to me while I was at the car wash and started to reminisce about how my truck looked like one he had back in the 80's.

He said "Dude, please tell me this is a package that came from Toyota, but if it isn't, you did a GREAT job replicating an 80's style truck!" He was a nice guy, but chatted my ear off for a solid 15 minutes. I didn't mind much, because he kept complimenting my ride.
