Does anyone know if this black plate comes off? One of my switches isn’t working. I tried prying it up but it seems to be hung up on the window side. I didn’t want to break anything before I researched some. Thanks.

In the absence of anyone with actual knowledge or experience chiming in, you might consider taking off the whole door panel. There are lots of YT videos showing how it’s done. A 10 minute job. Then you can have a look at the underside of the switch and see how it comes out. Taking the panel off seems drastic given what you’re trying to do, but it would be bad to scratch the door panel or the switch bezel.

    That’s good advice. Thank you.
