Spoke To BFG About Upcoming KO3 Releases

So yesterday I spoke to BFG’s customer service and asked them if or when they’re going to release a KO3 in 265/70/17 load range C . He said that they have no plans for that tire but he did say that late summer 2024 they are releasing a 265/70/17 load range D .
Don’t know if this is new or old news but I thought I’d pass it along .

 

Dont know if there's any teeth to it, but I noticed DT updated their site with a C load this week. They do note its not available for another year

 

Which one is correct?

Sounds like a third option; not going to release a C, going to release a D, and going to release a C. Seems the first and third are mutually exclusive, or cancel each other out, haha.

Looks like 285/70R17 Load C is already in stock around here in CO.
I love 285/70R17 Load C BFG KO2 but I wont buy KO3 as its too heavy for my liking, 57lbs..!! vs 285/70R17 Load C KO2 is 50.33lbs, lighter than some of the standard load tires.
