2003 Rear Wiper Arm Replacement

When to replace the rear wiper arm and realized that the post where the arm will attach has a tapered and grooved surface. See Picture

Do all Gen 4, 4 runners have this same post? Does my 4runner have an aftermarket rear wiper motor and therefore a different post connection for the wiper arm.

Any answers would be great.

 

Yes, it's tapered like that to help secure the arm. Yours looks factory.

Thanks for confirming the arm. Ordered a used one on Ebay and will install today.
