Backup cam flaking out

    2016 4Runner SR5
    My 2016 4Runner's backup cam goes on and off, with no obvious indication of why.
    I first assumed that closing the rear door was shaking something loose. But I have
    seen this without touching the door.
    I know I need to have this looked at, as I want to be able to rely on it.
    Is this something I should go to a dealer about?
    What is the likely cause/repair?
