Best videos to explain our off road features

Looking for the best way to explain/show/maybe create a cheat sheet for using (and the appropriate time to use) all of our features (4H/4L/ATRAC/etc) for my friend and possibly my wife. Add the ones that were most helpful for you below. Trying to be more clear and patient than I may be on my own haha.

Thank you for that suggestion! It was a great one! Would love to see more too. I believe I watched one before with a man who broke it down to a sheet he put behind the sunshade for his wife. Trying to also find that again.

I think I got that from a post on this board. I can’t remember who made it or I would have given credit.

 

I hate to reopen a can of worms, but what's summarized here is pretty consistent with what I've gleaned from a lot of videos, including (in particular) that ATRAC is most useful when you're at a stop and it shouldn't be left engaged for too long. Some members have been recommending to leave ATRAC on more or less continuously while in 4Lo.

 

I agree, but I'm cautious about the confluence of hot brakes and steep hills, so I lean more towards using it sparingly for specific obstacles.

 

If I’m in 4L I turn on the ATRAC but in reality, I’ve never heard it do its thing. If you were trying to climb Mt. Fugi, then yes, possibly the ATRAC would overheat the brakes from activation. I’ll buy lunch to anyone here that has over temped their brakes using ATRAC.
