Anyone ever replaced the Bumper Cover Air Shield?

What kind of nut is holding the front bolts into place?

Maybe too little too late but the 5 10mm head bolts do go into nuts welded into the subframe. I would imagine with some creativity in contortions you can get some fluid bolt loosener up above the cover onto the nuts and it can go to work.

So those are nuts, just welded on. I thought I was going crazy. I tried that and the bolt still broke with ease. Only 2/6 bolts were there and 1 of those "bolts" was a plastic body fastener... W dealership : L me

One center "bolt" is a plastic pin from the factory. 5 bolts, 1 plastic pin.

Are the other 4 nuts intact? Just grab some M6 bolts and hit them with anti seize and secure than thing with 4/6 bolts. It'll be fine.

Unless the old bolts are broken off inside the nuts.

All the nuts are still intact but the all the bolts (including the 1 I broke) are still inside. I'm turning to the use of EZ outs to get those out this weekend.
