Hey there! First post, new to the Toyota world. Drove Chevy’s my whole life but converted for a 2023 Toyota 4Runner SR5 Premium. Love the sh*t out of it. Looking to do my first mod(s) and am looking for advice. Hoping to find a complete lift kit online that is good enough to tackle Appalachian farm roads and a few big rocks here and there but nothing crazy.

Ideally, looking for a complete lift kit to drop off at the local auto shop and have them do the rest. Budget for parts is $1,500. Any advice? Thanks y’all!

    Welcome,

Bilstein 6112's for the front and Bilstein 5160's for the rear. Solid lift for decent price with long service life. Rides great on and off road.

Give it a shot stock if you aren’t sure and see how it does on those “few big rocks”.

+1. Just put some all terrains on it and give it a go. The first time I took mine out stock I was amazed what it could do. Farm roads for sure it could handle stock probably even with the highway tires.

Like they said above, give it a beat and just take it out.

literally everything I bought and put in mine I rotated out except the tires. I should have been a tad more patient but couldn’t help myself

6112/5160 are the best bang for your buck.

Set the front at 2.5" and get eibach or wheelers t13 coil springs for the back

Seems to be a common recommendation. I’ll look into it!

I may have massively understated what “big rocks” are. The road to the family farm is down the side of a mountain with incredibly uneven terrain and lots of deep ditches running throughout from a ton of rain water. Stock will do the trick but it will definitely put a beating on the undercarriage…
