Is anyone currently utilizing the Method 701s rims with internal bead locks? How well do these internal bead locks perform, or are they merely a gimmick? Additionally, does anyone have any visual representations or real pictures of them installed? Considering these for my inaugural modification of my new 4Runner. (Ice Cap ORP with blacked-out logos).

Moreover, I'm leaning towards Method due to the discounts I can access — any recommendations for other visually appealing wheel models from their lineup?

    Thanks!

I have 703s (same idea) and definitely recommend. I usually wheel at around 9-10 psi loose rock and 12 in snow

Just had them installed, so I can’t comment on functionality. But here is a pic.

    You mean Method's "Bead Grip"?

They're not bead locks but the guys that I wheel with love them. If you plan on airing down under 14-15 psi often they're worth it imo.
Again, not as good as real bead locks... but they're DOT approved and work incredibly well.

I have a set of 701’s. No issues over the last 18 months and get a lot of compliments on them. I can’t say if they are gimmicky or not. I put them through a lot both through deep snow and off-roading. Also know— depending your tire size, it definitely gives your tire a wider stance. I chose them for the over all width and to be safe back country, camping, etc.
Another benefit is that they are a bit lighter wheel construction than some others with the same durability.

I have some photos in my media gallery

I have these on my Superduty. Haven't air'd down yet but they look and ride fantastic.
