OK, OK, OK,,,,WOW I see all these magnificently awesome 4Runners and my brain explodes!!!! Dang good work all you guys. So, my question---- How did you get around the POS PCS. I #$@% think that it is a violation to my right to be a serious, non texting, responsible adult driver.

Sorry to get on my soap box......

I think you can turn it off or reduce it to almost nothing.

TrailSpecial22,,, You are correct- the 'Sensitivity' has three modes that it can be defaulted to. Also PCS can be turned off, but you have to do it every time you start the vehicle and deal with the warning light while driving.

I'm planning to make custom grill mounts for 6 3/4" round driving lights and I'm trying to find out how close I can mount them in relationship the the rectangle grill sensor without interfering with the sensor 'spread'.

Challenges such as this keeps the brain up to operating temperature.

    Thanks for the input......

The other thing that relies on the sensor in the grill is the adaptive cruise control. However, you would still have to option of old-fashioned cruise control.

How do you like the Talon armor? They are semi-local, and are really well priced. How was the install?

I'm very happy with the Talon full skid package and the installation was very easy. There was one hick-up though. I found out that there wasn't quite enough clearance for the KDSS ram to fully extend when the left front droops. Talon's immediately revised their design and sent and replacement front skid. Hands down they are an awesome manufacturer to deal with. Quality hardware, made in USA and a pretty darn reasonable price compared to others. Here's an picture from last weekend showing the design of the new front skid. Another thing I like is the ability to retain the splash guard that runs from the radiator support to the bottom of the bumper.

I went Bud Built because I wanted the light steel version full skids and I wanted to be able to replace segments as needed. The product itself is really good but my beef was the fitment. I had to stack washers in some mounting spots so the fit. Otherwise no issues. I haven't bolted up the gas tank skid because I'm lazy and the mounts will need spacing as well. I also want to drill and tap the front skid so I can mount the OEM plastic.

Would be great if they offered a filler panel to replace that plastic panel.

I'll end up with skidplates before a stealth bumper...but the interface between the skid plates and the bumper is a concern...

I have the c4 bumper and full RCI skids. I had the RCI filler plate to fill the gap before adding the bumper. I am happy with the fit of bumper and skids losing the filler plate with bumper. Pic of OEM bumper and RCI filler plate also.
