Hello everyone! I'm currently in the process of purchasing a 2023 4runner trd off road(not pro or premium). My question is will 285 tires fit on it without a lift? We have a set of them with better wheels that we would like to swap for the stock stuff. If they won't how much of a lift will be needed since it'll get lifted at style point too.

A wheelin' buddy has 285 KO2's on the 7 spoke wheels. He had to do the fender liner tuck and trim about a 1/2" of plastic. The liner tuck was done before we went. The fender still rubbed off-roading. When we got back to camp, he pulled out his knife and wacked off that 1/2". End of problem.

Depends on the offset of the new wheels. Stock TRD OffRoad wheels are a minor issue but the farther out the wheels go, the more contact there will be. I've got zero offset wheels and stock size tires (Toyo AT3's so not stock tires) and they rub at full lock in reverse.

Here’s mine with stock size tires and Pro rims. Most AT tires will appear larger than stock tires.
