looking at replacing the head unit on my wife’s 4Runner. It’s. 2017 TRD Off-road. Has premium Entune with built in navigation. Just so many issues.....

Would ideally replace with something that will maintain all the factory controls and have nav and/or Apple CarPlay.

    Any recommendations??

Did you ever make a change? I’m looking for the same thing. I didn’t think I wanted CarPlay until recently renting a car with it and turned out really liking it. I have a 2012 Limited and have gotten used to its flaws but it sure would be nice to have the phone nav displayed on the screen, among other things.

I have this for sale. It does has Apple CarPlay, XM Radio, DVD, Handsfree Call/Text Bluetooth. Everything was spliced by Crutchfield. It’s all set up to just plug it in and play. I purchased a 2018 Limited so I took it out of my 2010 SR5. It was used for just about a year. Let me know if you are interested at all. Thanks
