    Hi, Ca
HI, Pat from MI here, wondering what Jhooks you iused here? MOsgt I found require 2.5 or 3 inches of clearance from rack to roof clearance and it look like I only have 2 inches or less. Your setup looks just like my roof rak and was wonderirng hwo much clearance you have from rack to roof. How long are the screws from you J hokk rack? Please provide brand name of J-hook or link if you can, thanks!

I have Thule bars and a double kayak rack for the roof but prefer to just pull them with this. Lots of extra room for stuff, no worries of rubbing paint when loading, doubles as a motorcycle hauler and folds up out of the way in the garage when done.

Kuat class 4 V2. 2 years and still going strong. I can fit 2 full size and 1 kid size kayaks. Nice thing is they fold down so you can still go in under ground parking garage.

I use these for my two 10ft kayaks. Just pop your hood open, put these inside and close the hood on them. I guess the straps could rub the paint but my trips are fairly short so I'm not too worried. My profile pic shows my setup.

It's an Apogee Adapt-X 5x8 with the optional canoe rack.
