    Just for you.. :stirthepot:

The day I got my MT's mounted. I couldn't wait until wheeling season to take a picture. :notsure:

Sometimes a picture in a developed area is just to show people where you've been. I don't feel bad about taking this one at Islamorada Brewery in the Keys. That was one of the best days I'd had in years.

Here's another lame gas station picture from when my botched fuel pump recall stranded me on my way home from a TW express trip to Chicago.

I took this at a kayak launch in Florida. I just thought it was awesome that every vehicle there was a Toyota.

That's probably extra horrible since the tailgate is open.

I'm just being silly, though. I get what you're saying, and I agree to an extent. But, there are times when it's OK to snap a picture in the city .

Correct. Actually at least some of those were taken with a cell phone and in those situations I normally use the '2x' mode and just move a little farther away. I haven't quite figured out why 2x isn't fisheyed since it's a digital enhancement and not an optical one, but it does seem to minimize distortion.

I don't see any reason it would be. If it's just a digital zoom, all it's doing is cropping the picture for you.

To illustrate the difference via zoom, to achieve different distortion and scaling of background / foreground components…

Bad non zoomed photo. 1x lens from iPhon. The 4R looks distorted as hell.

much improved results from iPhone 3x lens. Mountain looms larger. 4R looks more like how it does in real life:
