IMG_8792.jpg IMG_8790.jpg I need y’all’s opinion. I have a 07 sr5 4Runner that started making a rattling noise on the passenger side. It does not matter if the air is on or off or what direction the air is set to blow. I have removed the glove box, cabin air filter, ran the blower. Reached in and the wheel is not loose. I wiggled everything I could find. Attached are some photos there is a couple electronic boxes I was wondering what they are and if there is a relay that is chattering. I have tried to upload a video of the noise but it will not load. Thanks in advance

Is the rattle rhythmic or like only occurs when going over a bump or something? Could help us diagnose.

I wonder if the blower motor spins even if the hvac is off. Could be that.

Might be the actuator for the fresh air blend door, had one go bad on a Tacoma, and sounded really bad

AC actuator. There are three on the passenger side. Could be any one of them.

Thanks for the replies I was out of town for work. This weekend I put the filter back in and the glove box back on. When I heard the noise I put the air conditioner on defrost and it stopped so now I know it has to do with the ac and not a relay in a body control module I will look for a good a/c shop to take it to. Thanks everyone for your input.

It still is most likely your blower motor or one of the three hvac modules on that side.
