    15k service.

    oil and filter change
    Greased all 6 zerks
    Rotated tires
    Cabin filter
Replaced the rear diff oil w/redline 75w90

a bit early for the diff but I do tow fairly often in summer so like to do the rear on the severe schedule.

lots of how-to guides out there, rather than me explaining it this video should help. You need a grease gun and any quality chassis grease, I like Mobil1 grease.

jharkin, I accomplished this yesterday after watching this video. The tip about putting it in neutral to let the rear driveshaft rotate was very helpful. Clean-up of the old grease was easy with the amount of room to work with.

Glad it helped. I follow the same service intervals as you do (and for the same reasons - that it's easy to remember). Really did make it less messy for sure. If this new adapter works as advertised I'll be even more happy.

Made the mistake of watching a Project Farm youtube video on portable jump starters and looked on Gooloo's site. Damnit... they were on sale. We have had a smaller unit for some time and it's worked well for when we used it. Wanted one for the 4Runner so I bought the GP4000. In case anyone was wondering, it fits in the side compartment a couple ways. I stuck a shop towel in with the cables to keep them from rattling which makes the width of the case a bit larger. It fits snug in both spots. Vertically is better in the event of an accident.

Could easily reduce the overall dimensions by getting rid of the case. It's a very nice hard sided case but takes up a fair amount of room because of that.

    Here are a couple pics:

Yup, went ahead and ordered one for myself a few days ago. Got the GT4000S. Looks solidly built. Hopefully will last a long time.

Are you able to remove the fake bead lock bolts? To change the bolt color.

I love it! It’s looking great and the fit for the LE bumper is just right. Have fun out there with it.

I can’t wait to get my 285/75R17s installed for some more ground clearance.

Thought I might need new rear brakes. Nope, plenty of pad material left. Cleaned and lubed pins and guides. Do need some sway bar links though..

TBH, I don't know for sure. I know these are "fake" bead lock bolts.

I was looking at a lot of other rims online. Most were VERY expensive rims (set/per rim). And I liked those. But considering the price of these Rocktrix wheels, their design, and overall aesthetics, you can't beat these. The brand is geared more towards Jeep. But there are a few select ones that will fit other makes and models.

The ones I really wanted were from ALPHAequipt:

    Screenshot 2024-06-03 111258.png

But at the $325 a piece, I could get 2 of those for full price of 4 at Rocktrix.

I was just curious because my rrw wheels have fake bead locks and you can remove the bolts. I removed the gold steel bolts and used black plastic bolts mainly just to change the color.

Added a blue sea safety hub 100 in to handle high current accessories. Let's me eliminate in line fuses on the ARB and cleaned up the compressor wiring with some blaze offroad harnesses. The Kaon Australia tie down tray for the Prado/FJ fits perfect and holds both the SH100 and a 4 terminal block for the low amp fuses from the blue seas connector plug. The main difference is that this fuse block is ignition controlled by my primary battery as opposed to the always hot 6 circuit blue seas fuse block which is powered from the secondary battery. Because the sdoffroadmt switch pros tray covers my factory fuses, this makes it easy to tap into accessory power. The Kaon bracket is supported by a powertrays dual CB battery tie down which holds a 135a CB into a high amperage relay that is connected to the IGN via an add-a-fuse. Now my Switch Pros 9100 blue wire is attached to the terminal block along with my morimoto DRL power. No more fuse taps. just hook up to that terminal block and anything I want only on when the vehicle is running is good to go. Also that Victory4x4 engine cover is fire

    i became..."one of them"...

haha drove 2 hours to wilkes barre and picked up a gobi stealth rack. my hardware transfer kit didnt arrive in time so i strapped it to my original rack and drove it home. now its strapped to my deck railing until i get the time to install it! hardware is tracked to arrive today. grabbed it from a guy who had unloaded his 4runner because his wife had a kid. his wife walked out holding the kid when we were in his garage. he pointed and said, "thats the guy that stole my 4runner!" LOLOLLL. very nice guy, hope he gets a 4runner somewhere down the line.
