Dash overlay cracking

    IMG_3936.jpg Has anyone else had the dash overlay crack and if so how did you fix it? Does it just peel off?

    Yes it looks pretty much the same on mine. I suspect it's from the heat/sun the poor car was exposed to in California.
    It's a pity, it's almost the only part that doesn't look nice anymore in my 2019.
    I haven't done anything to it yet, but due to the simple geometry it should be easy to apply a paint protection film (e.g.). I would be more concerned about the heat that can build up in the car in the sun. That the new cover can withstand it.

    You're right, it's not so bad either, we drive real SUV's and not fancy-pants cars. 4 Runners are there to ride and not just to look at.
    And it looks almost like dinosaur skin...

    Weird, I wouldn’t have ever expected that hard material used for that piece would crack like that.
