    Pair your phone to your 4Runner and make sure you allow the contact list/texts to be read. If you do that, then you will see "Incoming call from xxxx" on your head unit.

    I like my Prius telling me who its from so I don't have to look.
    I hope its an option I am overlooking on my 4runner.

    Welcome. Like borracho said...On the iphone you go into the Bluetooth connection and allow contacts and messages, toggle it on . Not sure if same on android.
