Need help with power lock issue for 3rd gen (97 Limited)

Hello,

I have been scouring internet for a solution for power lock issue on my 97 Limited. And I really hope I can get some answers here. Thank you for having me. The symptoms are like the following

1. Head/tail lights respond (they blink) to remote keyfob button. Dash lights also do respond to the remote.
2. The locks are not working at all. None of the locks are responding to the remote and driver/front passenger seat door lock button.

So far, I've checked all the fuses in driver side fuse box. None of the fuse are blown, and nothing seems out of the ordinary. One thing that I've done before this happened was to spray some soapy water to exhaust down pipe connection area to find exhaust leak. Could this be the cause of this issue, possibly shorting a circuit somewhere near by? The car works, it starts, it drives, radio works, light works, etc.. It just that the power lock is not working. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.
