My 2019 TRD Pro had 65k on the OEM shocks. Was going to pull them and have them rebuilt. Anyone do that?

I have two other 4Runners so I was going to buy the OEM Fox and replace them and have the older ones rebuilt and then use those on the other 4Runner.

My experience, aftermarket shocks like Ironman Foam cell Pro has better comfort than TRD Pro shocks. I also love having little lift with aftermarket.
Shock like ELKA 2.5 are insanely comfy on trails than TRD Pro shocks.

For my money I'm never going to buy TRD Pro Fox replacement. I would buy aftermarket (in addition to above 2) Fox 2.5DCS, Dobinson MRR, King 2.5A, Bilstien8100 series, etc.. Even practically non rebuild able OME BP-51 (even new Tacoma & 4runner trailhunter have these) .

I'm not sure if TRD Pro Fox are rebuildable or not. If they are I do have some TRD ORP shocks that can be installed until I get TRD Pro Fox are serviced, but I think the shop will charge same amount of lift install cost twice (remove TRD Pro Fox to install temporary shock then remove temporary shocks to rebuild TRD Pro Fox).Which doesn't make sense financially. I did a suspension install with a friend to 4runner and will never do it again. I would let the shop do it safely with proper 4 post lift.
