2006 4runner Breaklight out

On the drivers side, my turn signal light and bottom tail light work, but the break light doesn't. On the passenger side, all lights work. Any thoughts on how to replace or fix? Do I have to replace the whole tail light section? There is no bulb in the middle. Only a red light on the top for the turn signal and white bulb on the bottom.
