Super White - Paint Matching

Please direct me to the thread if there is one about this subject already...

Looking to purchase a TRD Pro Grille (Black) and paint it (Super White) to match my 2014 SR5 current color.

I've seen a lot of people try certain paints and not get a match (not sure if these people applied a clear coat or not).

Any direction with this is appreciated.

It will difficult to match it up, because your truck is 10yrs old and the paint has faded a bit. Do not expect an exact match.

I seen the TSO and have been looking at it.

What I want to do is add the Yota Expedition Black/Topo Lettering onto a White TRD Pro Grille.

Theirs comes in black so I was anticipating the need to paint it.

 

The link is to a pro grille with that overlay already painted white, which they say is color matched. You could add any color lettering you desire.

 

It looks like it's black letters but not black with the topo design

 

I got my color matched heritage grille through Thrashed Off-Road. Took about 7 weeks for the whole process including shipping across the country, but it came out flawless. They use your vin to get a perfect match

 

I meant you could source the letters yourself. You can purchase the grille without the lettering.

My OCD would kill me though not having the same design ratios as the purchased overlays from Yota Expedition

 

Here's for Toyota, not just by year. my 2023 is also C/TR: 040/LF22. Sticker called it "Ice Cap" but by Toyota Code it's "Super White II"
