I did a search, but I didn’t find anything. New to the site so I’m sure there’s plenty of these. When I go to install the (+) Brake light input lead it shuts off my self start system. This also prevents me from using any of the other features of the alarm.

Anybody who has dealt with this type of system if you can help me with how I’m supposed to attach that wire? Do I need a diode or any special features?

if I bypass the wire, it works fine for a week before the alarm shuts it off and ask specifically for the brake light input. Once I attach this wire it shut off the auto start and all the other features. I tried multiple brains, gone over the wiring diagrams multiple times and I cannot find any reason why as soon as I actually attach that wire it shut the auto start down which prevents accessing the other features.

Any helpful hints would be appreciated
