Help Leaking KDSS cylinder 2022 @ 38000km

    If it the front cylinder? That's the one I see often. Wish you noticed it under 36k miles :(

    1) Try local FB group also for recommendations.
    2) Maybe few quotes from near by dealerships might help.

    Wow you guys are great… I Just joined and have 2 reply’s already. I’m thinking it’s still under warranty as we’re in Canada so it only 23612 miles. So the experienced dealership in BC is the more important part for me at the moment. There is no Toyota dealer where we live so I’ll have to travel either way.

    Sweet, it's 38K kilometers. Nothing to worry in that case. Toyota will replace it and life would be good.

    I got lucky. I called Comox Valley Toyota and it just happened they had the special tools on site for a few days with 3 other vehicles in the line up. I went over to the Island on a Thursday they checked it out and booked me in for the following Tuesday. The tools were off to another dealership Wednesday. So far so good. I sure hope its the one and only time I’ll need the KDSS components replaced. Seams like quite the procedure.
