Wife is trading in a 2019 Sport for new 2024 TRD Pro Runner today. With various wheel and tire swaps the trade is going in with some 16” 2nd gen taco wheels and off-road tires (the summer trim).
We have a set of 2021 Tacoma Sport wheels in 17x7.5 (the newer models) with good winter tires that we are keeping.
Question: will the newer OEM Sport wheels fit in the new Runner?
Yes, I know we will be able to pull a wheel and check, but I don’t think wifey wants me pulling wheels of it right away.
If they don’t fit, I can use them as my dedicated winters on my 2022 Tacoma in a 3-set rotation, and start shopping for some winter wheels and new Nolan’s for her.

    Thanks.

They will fit. Good call on keeping the 17s and not the 16s as those would not have fit.

The 16s were actually from a 2nd gen Tacoma Off-Road and had been my winters, but they were the only “non black” wheels in the house, and the oldest, so they were the ones that made sense to trade.
And them not fitting the new runner confirmed that.
