Introducing myself to the forum. Recent purchase (02/12/24) of a 2024 Ice Cap 4Runner TRD Pro. Having lots of questions as to outfitting, upgrading. Suggestions are welcome. Already installed the Pedal Commander and on Monday, 3" lift, Falken A/T4W28.5x70x17 tires, Fuel Covert 17x9 Bronze Covert wheels, Predator Tube Steps and a few other goodies. Probably need to slow down a little before the wife actually says STOP spending our retirement!

Semi retired, still doing some part time work doing LE Agency Sales. Retired in 2008 after 30 years working for GTE/Verizon in OSP & Fiber. Retired in 2021 from LASD as a Reserve Commander doing SAR and being the head equipment nut for 7 SAR Teams in the county.

Hobbies include Fly Fishing with the wife, kayaking, N Scale Model Trains, Wine Tasting with Friends and now equipping and outfitting my 4Runner.

You're right about the scenery, been to Idaho several times, never disappointing!

 

Well, not the most scenic place to snap a pic but promised something. This was a week after we picked it up with the additions we included in the purchase. Since then added Stealth Tail Lights, Dobinson Drawers (Meh), Rago MOLLE panels/shelf in the rear (still working on adding MOLLE equipment b4 installing). Now working on a C4 Low Pro Bumper with High Bull Bar, Baja Designs 30" Amber light bar, Warn EVO winch, Morimoto Amber XB LED Headlights, 4Runner Lifestyle Fang Lights, Morimoto 4Banger Fog lights. Then comes the C4 Rear Bumper and Prinsu Roof Rack and ladder.

Must be tough living in Toronto and dealing with the requirements of having two spoken languages, primarily French.

 

Looking good. I’m in Boise also, been here for 22yrs, lived in Idaho Falls for 9 yrs before here. I purchased my Ice 2024 ORP about 3 weeks ago, and I’m considering a 2” lift. Can I ask where you had your lift installed and if not too nosy, what it set you back. Thanks!

 

Nahhh, in Canada they say we're bilingual but really it's fairly segregated. Quebec obviously being the largest body of french speaking Canadians, around the outskirts of the province and here there smaller pockets but in Toronto it's pretty rare to hear french spoken in public. In the vast majority of Canada you can get by with English which is great when you're travelling but they will stick their nose up at you in parts of Quebec tabernac haha. Pardon my french.
