Yep, I just installed the Gobi Stealth w/ ladder. Made the trail exponentially more comfortable for my fiance and two pups.

Ah nice! Saving up for that Gobi. Good to hear it's well worth it.

It's for sure. Unfortunately, killed the sidewall on my front driver side wheel so it was convenient to just throw it up on top to haul it down the trail. Also, if you plan on putting a light bar on top don't do it through Gobi. Check out extremeLED... It's like a quarter of the cost and an excellent product/customer service. Just make sure to get the gobi rack that allows a light bar.

So how long did you have to wait for the Gobi rack. Heard some horror stories about wait times and no response about status while you wait for it to be shipped (4-5 months???).

I really want the stealth rack for my new 4Runner but I’m an impatient guy.

I only had to wait a month because I ordered it through the Toyota dealership here in Denver, which is where they are made so the parts guy has a streamline deal with them.

Think that your dealer’s parts department would order it for me but have it direct shipped to my place in Dallas?
Would you share the dealers name and phone number?

    J_Runner 303,
Nice truck your dogs have there! Every pup deserves a good off roader.

I don't think they would because they have someone local install them for free but might be worth a shot. Dealership is Stevinson Toyota West in Denver. Call the main line and ask to get transfered to the parts department. Reese heads all of the gobi racks so ask for him.

I did indeed. You should check out Red Cone Pass. There are two pretty technical spots but the view up top is insane! You can see it from Argentine pass. After Red Cone you can do Radical Hill.
