    Hi
I have a 2002 3.4 automatic 4Runner and it has developed a ratel noise the high way between speeds 55-70 it isn’t gear dependent. The noise goes away when I let off the throttle. And theory’s of what this is?

I had exactly this, it was my driveshaft U-Joint. It's easy enough to swap (and cheap, parts like $40) DIY if you have a big ass hammer and a vice.

This is assuming the rattle noise shakes your interior, if its just a buzz noise with no feeling, idk, maybe motor mounts?

I used to have a weird noise @ highway speed that ended up being those engine flaps? Leather-like things behind each strut tower. One of em was loose and flapping away.
