Eibach Stage 2 installed

Complete! Ended with about 2” lift up front after alignment and 1.25” in the rear. Out of the box the front was 3.75”-4” lift. I dialed it down to 2” but after settling for 6 hours and a test drive it went to 1.5”. I raised it a bit and had about 2.25”-2.5” before alignment. After alignment it ended at 2” up front which is what I was after. It’s great to be able to fine tune it. Adjustment was very easy. I made my marks on an index card instead of struggling with a measuring tape I marked it on the card. Thanks to Hot shot off-road with a quick one day delivery. @memario1214

 

Oof that caster. I was annoyed my pass side only was 2.8*

 

yea once everything is broken in I’ll see if it drops in the front and I’ll get it realigned and see how it goes.

 

Nice! I just installed this same kit on my rig and love it so far. I ended up with a final front height of 2” as well and my caster readings were very similar to yours after I got an alignment. The steering felt loose and unresponsive so I ended up replacing the UCAs. Now it’s much better!

 

It seemed to drive fine but we’ll see. I have a 2.5” lift on my tundra and JBa UCAs and I’ll say they made that truck pretty smooth. Tundra is my daily. 4Runner is my wifes so I’m not as in tune with how the 4Runner drives. I might throw some JBAs on it at some point.

 

That looks great. When I put my 2R on I also installed Dobinson's with 3 degrees of castor correction built in which helped my alignment results.

 

Looks awesome. I Have the stage 2r, happy with them. Your caster might be able to adjust into spec without UCA from the looks of your alignment. Since you don’t have kdss the lower control arm will move/adjust easier. Uca does make the steering feel tighter and drives smoother in my experience.

 

it’s already settled another 1/4” on top of the original settle of 1/2”. I’ll give it a few months maybe adjust maybe not but either way get it aligned again. I got the Toyota one year warranty alignment and they said I can come back in a few months and get it aligned again under the original cost.

 

What UCAs did you get? Do they have adjustability for camber? Which would make caster adjustment easier at the bottom. This is the same case for me with Bilstein’s - but the steering feels nice and responsive for me.

 

I got the Old Man Emu UCAs. Caster is fixed and the spec sheet said that it adds 2.5-3.5 degrees. I was able to get closer to 4 degrees and back into spec thankfully.

 

Great kit and the stance looks good! A buddy is looking to get Eibach as well. He ordered a new set of BFG tires from 4Wheelonline and will start the mod projects next week.

 

Looks good OP . I just did the same kit on my wife's Runner. I got the same on the front out of the box 4". The rear I got 2" with the 1" springs . The front has only settled 1/4" after a week and the rear hasn't settled at all . That might be that mine is a 4X2. I will give it same time then make an adjustment. I do agree it rides amazing and my wife loves the look and the ride. I did do the JBA UCA.

 

Would you say the minimum this could have been set to would be 1.5" then? I actually want as little lift as possible in the front so that I don't have to lift my rear a bunch to make up for the extra weight, Tent/Rack/Drawer system/ etc. I'd take 1-1.5" up front for sure, but when I contacted Eibach they said it will give 2" or more but no less....and everyone I've seen with them installed looks like they have a good bit of room to drop that collar even further. and with the approx 2:1 motion ratio, there looks to be about 3/8 to 1/2" of downward adjustment if I had to guess in your pictures?
