Lookng at powered subwoofer options, no factory JBL stereo. What works well and how easy does it tie into factory wiring? More detail is better. Thanks.

I installed an Alpine PSU-300FRN 3 years ago when I did all my speakers. Plug and play for 5th Gens up to 2019. Fits right under the passenger seat.

Not sure if they have options for the newer head unit, but installation was straight forward and maybe took an hour and a half. That's with running power cable to battery, removing front seat and center trim to run the other wires.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I kept my factory head unit (a non JBL), but I swapped out all the factory speakers with a kit from Trail Grid Pro. They sold me a package of Kicker speakers that are plug-n-play. I added a Kicker amp to it after it was installed, and boy oh boy, does it rock now.

You can hear me coming when I crank up the tunes. I get very crisp highs, perfect mid's and the bass is rich. You can "feel" it in your seat and the back window shakes in the rearview mirror.
