This looks like a marketing move to combat the video by those other bloggers who broke something in the differential of their new Tacoma while going over a flat snowy rock.

Car Care guys broke the side step and apparently got yelled at for whipping it through the mud. Lol

He also talked with engineer and asked some tough questions, including what they did to prevent rust this time around. He also asked why manual transmission has less power than automatic iforce engine. Engineer looking a bit nervous. :D

Probably just camera angle but the lines here look a bit weird.

As the son of a career mechanic, and as a pretend mechanic myself, I love his YouTube channel. I totally didn’t buy the engineers answer to the manual HP question. How would a few HP change things if you dump the clutch?

Car care nut is legit. Check out his review about new Tacoma. He talks in details about everything and I really mean everything, such as placement of vaccum pump under the hood! He even points out the length of bolts that mount body to the frame. He talks about new Runner's T24A-FTS engine and 8 speed transmission, they're used in couple of Lexus, Tacoma, and Highlanders.

His technical knowledge on Toyotas is phenomenal. I mean imagine knowing the vehicle so thoroughly that when a new one is launched, you already know what is better, what is not and what could have be better.
I envy the folks that have access to his garage.
