2021 Limited always found the running board hard to use as it is attached very close to the bottom body panel and not sticking out enough. Always on tip toes when using the running board. Thanks to thsi forum found out that there is Westin 27-1945 that fits the Limited and drops the running board and moves it out a bit. Took about 1 hour to get it installed. So far wife likes it and son has easier time to get out of the car. Before he would just literally slide his legs down the side of the suv until he hits the ground, now can can step down and then on the ground.
So far my only complain is that since the running boards are lower the long rubber strip that was covering the gap is not longer tall enough and now there is a gap of about an inch. If you look at the pictures you will see the gap. Is there some kind of a product out there that I could attach to the existing rubber so that I could cover up that gap again?

Do you have a photo of the running boards, specifically the mounting brackets, prior to installation?

Edit: I see that the link you provided is for the Westin mounting brackets only. Based on their photos of the product, it seems you get what you get as far as height. You will probably need to get creative and make your own trim piece to cover the gap; I've not seen anything like that for sale...
