17x8.5 -10 285/70r17. Had 17X9 -38 w 295/70r17 Geolandar on my (now sold) taco. Looks good and all but I didn't want to go through the process of BMC, cutting, trimming and hammering the pinch weld on the 4r. IMG-0346.jpg IMG_2468.jpg

I took the dog to the park this morning. Turned around and snapped a pic. Still on original tires. I'm looking forward to changing them out.

Hello all!! This is my 1st post. Just got mine a few weeks ago. I added BFG's to the stock wheels and think they look pretty good! Roof rack and Bumper are next!

Looks Sweet-- Do you rub at all? Have you done a leveling kit? I'm in the same boat as you. I had 35s on my taco that I had chopped up and done all kinds of cutting and welding. Avoiding that for a bit until I go big with a RCLT kit and 37s

Just realized I asked if you had a leveling kit. Nevermind. Where did you buy this setup?

Greetings from the chilled midwest. Recently found this 2014 Trail Premium and decided it was time to have another 4Runner after a Tacoma and FJ. First was 1988 that was losing the rust battle. Tough little truck, wish I had a bigger garage.

Thanks! Pretty sure it lived it's early years in a garage and it had a regular service, oil change, maintenance record from the first owners. Interior is immaculate. Bare minimum undercarriage rust. Bought from Boland Ford in Hannibal. Wow, they detailed it to perfection. Even re-balanced the wheels to stop a slight steering wheel wobble.
It will spend the rest of it's days in our garage for sure. Huge ride improvement with the Eibach over the tired OEM. Nice to sit on heated seats when it's 19 degrees in the morning!

    glwood54,

Just noticed your Albuquerque connection. We're out in Corrrales at least once per year, usually in the fall, before or after the balloon fiesta. Enchilada's, chili relleno's and tamales for days. We always bring home at least 25lbs of frozen green & red chili's.

Glad to have you here. That's pretty much the best time of year to visit Burque. Our daughter and her husband have a home and casita near Old Town that are AirBnB, and they're always booked solid during the Balloon Fiesta.

The wife and I were just at her sister's home in Corrales the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Pssst- if you get red and green here, it's called chile. Chili has beans and comes from Texas. ;)

My bad. Been away too long. I've always heard Texan's never put beans in their chili!

Fifty years ago I lived in Old Town. Good times! Low rent! Safer than North & South Valley or up in the Canyon. My brother & his family had a nice place out in Placitas before it was subjugated and civilized. That was before Rio Rancho had gobbled up the entire West mesa and started pushing out westward.

Not sure how '25 is going to shake out for chile shopping. Trying to coordinated scheduled vacations among family can be challenging. Besides visiting in Corrales, we try to visit the Jemez area and Valle Grande. Now, we're also trying and get back up to Navajo Lake to fish the San Juan and enjoy the wine festival. That's an overly ambitious travel plan to cover roughly 3K miles.

If we can nail down some specific dates, I'll let you know & maybe we can meet up for some tasty relleno's with red chile sauce!
