Well guys. Its been about a month owning my 4Runner now.
And all I can say is I love her.
Best purchase I’ve ever made in my life. The space, the way you sit, the ride everything about my 4Runner is perfect.
1 owner I am the second. The first guy took really damn good care of it.

Check out the way I bought it. And how it looks now :)
Not very big changes but just made her look a lil more clean

    No crazy upgrades.
    Hood deflector
    New black housing headlights
    And LED bulbs
    New LED tail lights
    TRD decals
    New tint also :)
    Removed the running boards.
    That’s about it I think
Coming along great! loving the lil changes I’m making

Very clean! Nice find. And I love the look of the 3rd gens without running boards. I just did the same to my '97 SR5 a couple weeks ago, as well as removing the hitch.

Looks like I posted pics in your last thread! Didn't realize you had started both of these threads:

Was the "4Runner" on the back always black? Or did you make it black? If so, how?

The emblems came black! I get a lot of compliments on them! But that’s how they came in sure they have them on ebay. They’re like a gloss black. They look real good

I like where you're going with this. Looks like you're enjoying it and making incremental changes along the way. Many will blindly throw a bunch of parts at their 4R, but how do you know what you need unless you use it?

Why are people removing their hitches? Just to lighten up the weight of the vehicle?

I took off my hitch because I won’t be using it to tow. I still have it just in case but I have the 4 banger so I probably won’t tow anything haha

Sharp and clean! love the rear tail lights....where did you get them? also interested in what you did with the headlights. Just picked up my 4R. looking to make some simple changes like you did to clean her up. Im not huge fan of the factory Limited trim. thinking of removing it but not familiar with the process/how it will look and what my aftermarket trim option are.

I purchased my LED tail lights on EBay and my Black housing headlights on eBay also! Makes the 4R look a lot better
