I have a set of Sequoia 17x7.5 wheels with 265/70 ATs on my '23 Limited, offset is 15mm, like the OEM 20x7 wheels. I was running 275/55s on the OEM 20s, and even though the Sequoia wheels are wider, it's a wash because of the 265s and same offset. So I added a set of 1" spacers, used red loctite on the spacer nuts, torqued them to 90 ft-lbs, and used anti-seize on the wheel lugs, all good and tight with my cordless impact. Pushes the wheel and tires out to just a little past the wheel arch, which will be okay since I have splash guards! No rooster tails for anyone behind me!

Looks great but it's pissing me off. Took a break as I cannot get upper grill to seperate for the life of me. Pushing down on them with a flathead while pulling harder than I thought should be required and I got nothing

This diagram might help you out. I had to remove something from the front, can't remember what it was, but I wasn't aware of the clips that are pictured in #9 and #15. Couldn't for the life of me get them loose, and I ended up breaking the first one. Once I saw how it worked, I was able to get the others off without too much effort. I watched a Youtube video that showed where these particular clips were, so that's another resource for you.

I absolutely cant believe how much force it took to remove the upper grill, even after vaseline and a bunch of plastic pry bars shoved in to push the clips down, but its done and I couldnt be happier20240317_185848.jpg

Yes, I gave up once because I was scared I'll break something. Someone here assured me that won't happen but it is still nerve wrecking. I imagine taking the whole bumper off is similar, which I will have to do when I install bumper/winch.

The bumper itself, valance, trim where TOYOTA is, mesh above n below said trim

ALL can be dismantled in different ways…individually or whole

Where the top “mesh” diamond cut plastic meets the “pro trim”
By far worst POSclips I’ve encountered so far while taking the truck apart

they slip under n above somehow
    Nightmare during bumper install

It looks great man! #twins. Glad it finally showed up! I was worried I was gonna break mine too when I was trying to take it off but luckily it gave after a hard pull.

@MWinkTRD I told my wife I think I'm 1 of 1 in NE and maybe 1 of only 2 nationwide. She wasnt as impressed as she should be if I'm being honest.

Just got my rig lifted today, Eibach Stage 2 with SPC UCAs. Have the "new" TRD wheels with the bronze caps. I feel like something is missing. Any recommendations?PXL_20240411_192939654.jpg

    Looks great! Classy not flashy.
Missing? Well that all depends on your use cases and taste.
Something other than Toyota running boards?
    TRD Skid Plate?
    So many options...

Missing is up to you. I think my 4Runner is always missing something. The dang "what did you do with your 5th gen" thread makes sure it is so. But that is the fun of it, you are never really done building the vehicle.

Like said above, its your rig. It does look great as is, but lots of people would make form changes or function changes. Full rack or sliders look cool to me, but I cant justify the cost and weight knowing full well I dont really need them. Personally I'd mount the tires whites out, but that's a rare opinion.

If you still have the venture wheels, one super cool mod would be selling them to me...

I have the eibach stage 2 just waiting to go on. What did you set your front to? Did you do anything in the rear?

I had them installed at standard height. 3 inches in the front and about 1 inch in the back.

Looking for ideas on tires - gonna go with the 275/55/20 as I like my stock wheels but want a "beefier" looking tire and don't want to change my setup (for now). Will most likely lift later and add step ups/nerf bar. As my pic shows, My limited is MGM and I'd like to see pics of yours and what tire you went with. Thanks.BK 2022 Limited - date of pick up.jpg

Just got Mickey Thompsons and Methods. Only had them for a few days, so not much to say at this point on performance. I am sure they will be great in the snow in Tahoe.
