Potential new owner. Toyota safety sense or no?

I worked in Auto Glass way back. It was no deductible in the 1970s.

 

The cover glass 100% unless I want oem. Then I'm responsible for the difference is what I was told by my ins company. I'm not sure if I can challenge that though as there was a document somewhere that said Toyota says something about oem should be used to ensure correct calibration or something along those lines

 

I would challenge that. Your insurance company is probably trying to go the cheap route. Check your state laws. Since this is a safety concern, I doubt that they can get away with that.
